How to get your licence

Five stops, and we’re with you at every one. This is how long it takes on average round here.

  1. 1

    Enrolment

    1 day

    Come to the office with your ID and a photo. We book your medical check at a centre next door and open your file with the DGT.

  2. 2

    Theory

    2 to 4 weeks

    Classroom lessons, tests on your phone and revision of the topics people get wrong most. If you’re in a hurry, there are two-week intensive courses.

  3. 3

    Theory test

    1 morning

    At the Ponferrada test centre. We go with you on the first day, and your result appears in the miDGT app within a day or two.

  4. 4

    Driving lessons

    20 lessons on average, 1 or 2 months

    You start on quiet streets and end up on the Manzanal pass and the N-VI in rain or fog. You choose the times, Saturdays included.

  5. 5

    Driving test

    1 morning

    We put you in for the test when your instructor sees you’re ready, not before. On the day, you drive the same car you’ve practised in.

From enrolment to licence, 3 to 4 months on average.

All the theory in two weeks, with a class every day and revision tests. When you finish, we put you down for the first available test in Ponferrada.
