Frequently asked questions

Before you come

If you have any other questions, ask us on WhatsApp or by phone.

What should I bring to my first appointment?

The shoes you wear most (and your running shoes, if you run) and a list of any medicines you take. If you have reports from your doctor, bring them on paper on the day; there's no need to send them beforehand.

Do I need a referral from my doctor?

No. We are a private practice and you can come directly. If your doctor has prescribed anything, bring it along and we'll take it into account.

How long does an insole last?

Between one and two years, depending on use and footwear. The one-month check is included in the price, and after that whenever you feel it no longer fits the same.

Do you see children?

Yes, from when they start walking. For children starting school we do a short check of how they walk and of their shoes.

Can I change or cancel my appointment?

Yes, on WhatsApp or by phone, with 24 hours' notice. Nutrition appointments can also be changed on Doctoralia.

Do you work with health insurers?

No. We give you an invoice so you can claim from your insurer if it refunds part of the cost.
