One of the most beautiful beech woods in Asturias, with a flat path starting from Les Bedules. Copper-coloured in autumn. Fine for kids and dogs.

“My granny's house, all to yourselves.”
This house belonged to my granny. My husband and I restored it stone by stone, using the chestnut wood that was in the hayloft, and since 2014 we've rented it out whole to families and groups of friends.
It has a hórreo (the traditional Asturian granary on stilts), a meadow for the kids and dogs to run around in, and a big kitchen where everyone ends up gathering. The name comes from the old yew tree (texu) next to the village chapel, said to be more than five hundred years old.
We live in San Juan de Beleño, five minutes away. We'll welcome you when you arrive and we're on the phone for anything you need.

Motorway as far as Cangas de Onís. From there, about 40 minutes of mountain road following the river up to San Juan de Beleño, the main village of the municipality.
From Beleño, the last 2 kilometres are a narrow, winding tarmac road with passing places. After the chapel, it's the second house on the right, the one with the hórreo.
