One family, one farmhouse and 14 hectares
In 1962 our grandfather planted the top vineyard. Today his grandchildren look after it.
Our story
Three generations at the same farmhouse, among holm oaks and dry-stone terraces. We're small on purpose, so we can do everything ourselves.
- 1962
Grandad plants the top vineyard
Vicent Toldrà buys the Mas de l'Avi with three terraces of Garnacha and Monastrell. He sells the wine in bulk, in demijohns, to the neighbours in Benassal and Culla.
- 1990
The Toldrà-Pérez winery is born
His son Josep and Amparo Pérez build the winery and the barrel room next to the farmhouse, and bottle their first wine with the family label.
- Today
The third generation
Siblings Vicent and Marta look after 14 hectares and about 30,000 bottles a year. Since 2018 we've opened the winery to visitors at weekends.

Vicent and Marta
Vicent has been in the vineyard since he was sixteen and knows every vine by name. Marta studied oenology in Requena and came back to run the winery.
The two of us do the tours ourselves. If you get Vicent on a Saturday, you'll hear more about soil and pruning; if you get Marta, about tanks and barrels. Both are worth it.
